William "Bill" Russell Wyse (born January 15, 1934) was a provincial politician from Alberta, Canada. He served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1971 to 1975 sitting with the Social Credit caucus in opposition. ==Political career== Wyse ran for a seat to the Alberta Legislature in the 1971 Alberta general election. He ran as the Social Credit candidate in the new electoral district of Medicine Hat-Redcliff. He defeated Progressive Conservative candidate Jim Horsman and two other candidates in a hotly contested race to pick up the seat for his party.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Medicine Hat-Redcliff results 1971 )〕 Wyse and Horsman would face each other in the 1975 Alberta general election.
